The
Process
THE BRIEF
I need my existing Marine Corps recruiting pamphlet revised and professionally cleaned up using the original source file. The back cover’s current pictures should remain, but a few unnecessary photos throughout the pamphlet need to be removed to create a cleaner, more focused layout. The overall design should feel sharp, well-organized, and visually engaging to grab attention when left in public spaces. The goal is to clearly convey the Marine Corps message and inspire potential recruits to take action, ensuring the pamphlet works effectively as a lead-generating tool. I have provide the US Marines Brand Guidelines and more pictures. Once completed, I will need two posters/flyers to help with recruitment.
MY APPROACH
I was proud to take on the task of redesigning the Marine Corps recruiting pamphlet and designing recruiting posters and flyers. My goal was to create a bold, on-brand, prideful design that appeals to recruits with clarity and authority.
Client provided a file as a reference as it provided the images and copy for the project. I started by eliminating unnecessary photos to reduce visual clutter while keeping the impactful back cover imagery intact as requested. Client provided me with the official Marine Corps brand guideline for color, typography, and style.
I created these promotional materials with a disciplined layout with clear hierarchy, strong calls-to-action, and high-impact visuals that reflect the pride, discipline, and readiness of the Marines.
The result was be a polished, professional pamphlet that commands attention, builds interest, and drives lead generation when displayed in public spaces.
