Process

THE BRIEF

For Crossroads Community Church, I was honored with task of developing a series of promotional materials for two major initiatives: their Fall Community Group launch and a Volunteer campaign. These materials were distributed across multiple campuses, with some pieces specifically tailored to individual locations.

MY APPROACH

My role was to design visually cohesive and engaging materials across a variety of formats, while adhering to the church’s established branding guidelines. I was also encouraged to bring my creative ideas and make design choices that would enhance the campaign’s impact.

One of the key challenges I faced was the volume of copy provided for each piece. Knowing this, I approached each layout strategically—aiming to maintain clarity and readability without allowing the designs to feel cluttered. I focused on strong visual hierarchy, thoughtful spacing, and consistent use of imagery that visually conveyed connection. Connection was a central theme for both campaigns. Each piece was crafted not only to deliver information, but also to visually unify the message across campuses.
